Consider volunteering at Tybee Island Marine Science Center! It’s a good time and you’ll help promote responsible stewardship of coastal Georgia’s unique marine ecosystem. Check out our volunteer positions and their scope below:
Program Assistant
Assist marine science educators in delivering programs to children and adult groups in the classroom, on the beach, and in the marsh.
Gallery Interpreter
Engage scouts, school groups, and island visitors in our Coastal Georgia Gallery by interpreting the Touch Tank and exhibits.
Outreach Liaison
Represent the center at community outreach events and teach the public with traveling displays on sea turtles, whales, sharks, and jellies.
